Our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students are taking a portion of the state mandated STAARtest from Monday, April 20th - Wednesday, April 22nd. Therefore, Salyers will be closed for all visitors. This includes visitors during student lunch times. We want our students to have a quiet testing environment with minimum distractions. We wish our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders the best of luck and know that they will do well.
Thank you, parents, for your support and understanding!
ATTENTION PARENTS: ALL ADULTS WHO COME TO SALYERS TO PICK-UP A STUDENT EARLY OR FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE MUST HAVE A PICTURE I.D.!
Thanks to the Salyers PTO, we have a fully operational WeatherBug weather station on our roof that is linked with KHOU 11 and the WeatherBug online weather center. Real-time weather conditions are recorded at our school and our science students will benefit from this program as well.
