Congratulations Mrs. Gealow and Mr. Genseal!
Smith Elementary School received $3,500 for a project called 3M: Momentum Mechanics and Maniacs, which will help students experience force and motion by making and designing their own roller coasters. The recipients are Nancy Gealow and Terry Genseal.
Progress reports and report cards will be online this year, with the exception of kindergarten. Grade reports will be available 7 days following the end of each grading period and 10 days after the semester ends. The electronic grade reports can be accessed through Parent Connect. The Spring ISD Child Nutrition Department will offer free breakfast to all students at our school starting January 4, 2011 regardless of economic status. For more information call 281-891-6445 or visit the website at www. springisd.org. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 - 7:20.
Parent U Conference Day is series of parenting workshops designed to appeal to parents of all ages of children, social background and education status. The Parent U philosophy is that parenting, like other types of education, is a way in which school districts, businesses, and other organizations can provide education in a positive, non-threatening way.
