Spring ISD Announces Instructional Make-up Days
for Students due to School Closings

HOUSTON - Feb. 4, 2014 - Spring ISD Interim Superintendent Dr. Dalane Bouillion announced instructional make-up days for students due to the school closings that occurred Jan. 24 and 28 due to inclement weather. The days are Monday, Feb. 17 and Wednesday, June 4. These days are designated on the 2013-14 school calendar to be used as make-up days if needed. The state requires that students and staff meet the mandatory number of instructional days in a school year. Additional decisions regarding employee work days will be communicated based on contractual needs.

(collected in class from 4/24 - 5/2)

(collected in foyer on May 2nd)

Home Access Center - Online Grades/Report Card
First Nine Weeks Report Cards have been posted on Home Access Center in the Parent Portal.

I am in the process of sending out Home Access Center log-in information to parents who completed the form as quickly as possible. Due to the high volume of initial requests, it is taking between 7-14 days to fill requests. Every attempt is being made to get this information distributed in a timely manner. I appreciate your patience.

**Student's must be 5 years of age or older on or before September 1, 2013 to register**
