BMS Celebrates Read Across America |
Read Across America is a national celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday and reading. The librarians ran a poetry contest. Students were offered the chance to write a poem in the style of Dr. Seuss. Entries were due on March 4. There is a trivia contest going through the end of the week. Students who answer the questions most correctly will have their names put in a drawing. We displayed Dr. Seuss books and on Friday, March 1, the day before Dr. Seuss' birthday, the librarian and the aide were dressed as Thing 1 and Thing 2 and had a celebration in the library before school. |

"The Oak Ridge High School Percussion Festival"
|
The Bammel Middle School Percussion Ensemble placed 1st in the Oak Ridge High School Percussion Festival. They competed against many Houston area schools and still came out on top. Thank you to the BMS Administration members that supported us every step of the way. We could not have loaded our trucks without your help.
Thank you!
