Spring ISD Announces Instructional Make-up Days for Students due to School Closings
Spring ISD Interim Superintendent Dr. Dalane Bouillion announced instructional make-up days for students due to the school closings that occurred Jan. 24 and 28 due to inclement weather. The final makeup day will be Wednesday, June 4. This day is designated on the 2013-14 school calendar to be used as a make-up day if needed. The state requires that students and staff meet the mandatory number of instructional days in a school year. Additional decisions regarding employee work days will be communicated based on contractual needs.
Tuesday, February 25 and Wednesday, February 26 students will be completing their DFA's.
Tuesday -- Math and Social Studies
Wednesday -- Reading and Science
Dueitt is participating in Texas SUCCESS which provides state-funded access to interactive reading and math programs for Texas public school students in grades 3-8.
Istation is the Texas SUCCESS reading provider.

Dueitt's PTO is participating in the General Mill's Box Tops for Education program. Parents, students, and staff may turn in box tops to the front office. All proceeds go to the DMS PTO.
